Program Description
  • Participants of different levels of abilities are welcome to join
  • Coaches will remain the same throughout the season
  • Fun environment for players to learn the game and grow their skills
  • Program will be conducted using special light weight sponge pucks
Program Prerequisites
  • Minimum 1 year of skating experience required
  • No hockey experience required
Class Aim
  • Introduction to hockey skills: Skating with puck, stickhandling, passing, shooting
  • Introduction to hockey positioning
  • Have fun and develop a passion for ice hockey!

Full hockey gear required
High Coach to Player Ratio (7:1)
Instruction will be undertaken by senior CIHL coaches and coaches from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) and Junior Hockey players interning in Hong Kong

A parent coordinator will be designated for this program and be on the ice during training

  • Junior Tigers program is designed to work in conjunction with other leagues and program. Our goal is to provide options for players of every age and skill level and we take the approach that more hockey means more fun!
  • There are no restrictions on participant’s passport or country of origin and all are welcome to enjoy the various program.

Special Note:

Junior Tigers management reserves the right to change program curriculum if the minimum number of participants is not reached. Participants who have signed up and paid for a program curriculum that is changed due to above-mentioned reason, will be given the option of switching programs or receiving a full refund if the program is no longer available.

  3. Registration will be done on a first come, first serve basis, with priority given to previous Junior Tigers participants.
  4. There will be no training during Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Easter periods.
